Members and friends of Milwaukie Lutheran Church
are invited to Share in a variety of opportunities offered
during the calendar school year for the enrichment of one's
Biblical and spiritual life.

SCHOOL 9:45 each Sunday morning.
Children age pre-school through high school
are invited to attend Sunday
school at (time) between church services. A
dedicated staff of teachers and
assistants provide a loving spiritual for
growth for MLC children and their friends.

Do you sometimes have questions you would

sermon? Join Pastor Charles and others in
the Choir Room between services to
ask questions and further your knowledge.

EDUCATION
Grab a cup of coffee in the fellowship hall
and join the adult education committee
for an enjoyable spiritual growth offering.
Topics vary each week.
WEEKDAY OPTIONS:
- WOMEN'S CIRCLES AND BIBLE STUDY:
The theme of the ELCA Women's Circle Bible Study
is: "Blessed to Follow: The Beatitudes as a Compass
in Discipleship." The purpose of this study is to give
participants a snese of God's blessing--and through blessing,
God's call for their lives.
Join one of the Circles listed below which meet
on various days, and times of the day, on the second week of
each month:

Companions in Christ, Meet each Friday at

- SMALL GROUPS
Small Groups are a way to meet members of the
congregation, grow in faith and fellowship, and spiritually
through enriching Bible studies. MLC currently has six small
groups and would like to see that number grow.

- BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP
All are welcome to join the book discussion group
on the third Tuesday of each month 7:00 - 8:30 in the church
library. Bring a friend and share in the enjoyment of a good
book. Selections for the coming year are: Contact
Karen Hicks or Carolyn Mills.
YEARLY OPTIONS:
- ALL CHURCH RETREAT AT THE CEDARS:
November 9-11,2007, the all church retreat will
be held at The Cedars Retreat Center.
-Personal spiritual guidance is available.
