She has been a member of Lutheran churches from California to Virginia, New Mexico to Montana, and finds MLC to be a great place to practice her faith with opportunities for spiritual growth, friendship, community and global outreach in mission.

	Shirley Meyer Email: robsmeyer@netzero.net	Shirley has been a member of Mlwaukie Lutheran for several years. She and her husband Bob have been married for 53 years. They have two girls and four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Milwaukie Lutheran is home to us. No matter were we have been in the past, we always came HOME. We are here to stay.
	Connie Jackle
	Lisaana Otter	Lisaana first moved to the Pacific Northwest almost 3 decades ago. She has been a member of Milwaukie Lutheran Church since 2005, being a recent convert to Christianity. Lisaana brings with her knowledge and experience of the rich traditions of Judaism, and a political background of anarcho-feminism. By her participation in Council, she advocates on behalf of the Stewardship and Outreach Ministry Teams. Her special call is to regularly ask for awareness of the needs of the unchurched seeking relationship with God, and believing in a relevant future for the ELCA. A bit of a techno-geek, she believes social networking, WiFi, and the Internet all can be helpful tools to that relevant future. Lisaana's favorite aspects of the Body of Christ at Milwaukie Lutheran: renewal in worship, growing friendships, opportunities to learn about Christianity (academically and practically), and the loving acceptance of her neighbors. Joyfully she proclaims "I am a fool for my savior, Jesus."

	Mary Jo Hess: Past President Email: hessmrj@comcast.net	Mary Jo is a relative newcomer to MLC, having moved to the area with her husband Glen and two sons in 2001. They live in Happy Valley, worship in Milwaukie, work in downtown Portland, and enjoy hiking, biking, camping and traveling anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. MJ is inspired by the deep friendships and many examples of loving service she encounters in this church.
