Summer Mission Trip to Lapwai, Idaho

This summer 13 SH youth and 3 adults will be traveling to the Nez Perce Reservation in Lapwai, ID to work with Group Workcamps.  Along with around 80 youth from around the country we will be helping do various home repair projects for needy people there. Every night we will also have time for worship as we look back on the day.  

Our goal with our summer trips is that every youth gets a chance to experience a week long mission trip somewhere in the US and one in Mexico.  We also attend the National Youth Gathering on the third year of the cycle so they can experience worship and a lot more with 36,000+ other Lutheran youth.  We feel this gives them a great opportunity to experience God in different ways.  It is hard to describe how life-changing the experiences can be.  You have to experience them for yourself.
