YOUTH
  
Youth all ages through high school are provided
regular gathering opportunities on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM.
Activities include education in our Christian faith, time to get
to know each other, planning special events, and fun projects.

In addition to Sunday mornings, youth may participate in many
other activities:

High school youth
group. Meet Sunday evenings 6-8 P. M.
Special Monthly Fellowship Activities (Lock-ins, Retreats, Snow trips are some of the
activities of the High School. All Senior High
youth are encouraged to sing in the choir.

Junior high school youth group
has weekly sessions on Wednesdays from 6-7:30.
Confirmation Class from 6-7:30 during the school year.
They also have monthly fellowship opportunities like
lock-ins, miniature golf. They work on service
projects every other month. We meet as a class
during the education time between services and we
encourage all to participate in the Junior/Senior choir.

Children grades 1-6
have special fun nights at
church (movies, sports, games) on Sunday evenings from
6-7:30. They also have Sunday school between
services on Sundays. The opportunity is also
available to sing in the
Kids of the Kingdom
(KOK) Choir. In the summer, they can also
participate in Vacation Bible School.

Village, Camp Lutherwood, Camp Menucha

Mission trips (U.S.,
Mexico, Canada)

events for Lutheran youth church wide

Special events for
youth from all over the State of Oregon

Participation in
National gatherings

Community service
locally: Milwaukie Lutheran Youth helped during a
recent Youth Build for Habitat of Humanity. It
actually looks like a lot of fun for those involved.
